Yoshino Senbonzakura – Japan’s Most Celebrated Cherry Blossom Destination

Yoshino is widely recognized as an exceptional location for cherry blossom viewing. Referred to as “Hitome Senbon,” the mountainsides boast around 30,000 wild cherry trees in full bloom, transforming the scenery into a stunning expanse of gentle pink hues.

Stress-Free Access by Bus Tour

During the peak period for cherry blossoms, Yoshino can become quite crowded. A bus tour provides an easy and comfortable method to visit—eliminating private car restrictions, parking worries, and offering direct access to the sightseeing bus parking area without needing to switch to shuttle buses.

Enjoy an Extended Cherry Blossom Season

The cherry blossoms start to bloom from the lower area (Shimo-senbon), followed by Naka-senbon and Kami-senbon, enabling guests to partake in hanami over a relatively extended duration.

Typical Best Viewing Periods:

  • Shimo-senbon: Late March to Early April
  • Naka-senbon: Early to Mid-April
  • Kami-senbon: Mid-April

Please note: Tours proceed regardless of bloom conditions. The timing of blooms may fluctuate based on weather conditions.

Fujiwara Palace Ruins – Enjoy the striking spring scenery where bright yellow rapeseed flowers contrast beautifully with blooming cherry blossoms.

Approximately 2.5 million rapeseed flowers bloom across the fields, creating a magnificent view that is beautifully complemented by the cherry blossoms.

Typical Best Viewing Periods:

  • Rapeseed flowers: Early to mid-April
  • Cherry blossoms: Early April

Novotel Nara Lunch Buffet – Savor a generous buffet featuring over 30 Italian and international dishes.

Indulge in an Italian lunch buffet offering around 30 dishes, including daily rotating main courses such as original pizzas and pasta made from Yamato pork and locally sourced Nara ingredients.

Leisurely Stroll Through the Charming Old Town of Naramachi

In the historic area of Naramachi, streets lined with traditional townhouses from the Edo period create a nostalgic ambiance. Narrow, winding alleys are filled with temples and shrines, including the World Heritage–listed Gango-ji Temple, along with cafés and specialty shops that enhance the traditional townscape.
