Overview

This 2-day journey through San’in introduces you to some of the most picturesque and spiritual locations in western Japan.

Day 1

Begin your adventure at the stunning Tottori Sand Dunes, which extend 2.4 km from north to south and 16 km from east to west, with height variations reaching up to 90 meters. Take a leisurely walk through this remarkable natural site and enjoy some free time for lunch.

Next, wander through the Kurayoshi Shirakabe Dozogun district, where the Tamagawa River is flanked by white-walled storehouses and traditional homes from the Edo and Meiji eras. This well-preserved historical area evokes a sense of nostalgia and has been designated as an Important Preservation District for Traditional Buildings.

In the evening, you will stay at Sennen-tei in Hawaii Onsen. Unwind in the open-air bath that overlooks Lake Togo, where the harmonious connection between the lake and the bath offers a uniquely special experience.
