Tour Description
This two-day bus journey guides you through some of Japan’s most picturesque and culturally significant locations. Start your adventure with a trip to Shirakawa-go, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its iconic gassho-style farmhouses. You will have ample free time to wander around and enjoy lunch at your convenience.
Your next destination is Yamanaka Onsen, a famous hot spring region, where you will spend the night at a traditional ryokan. Take the opportunity to relax in the expansive open-air baths and soak in the tranquil atmosphere. In the evening, indulge in a sumptuous kaiseki dinner, featuring fresh abalone, nodoguro, and grilled crab.
On the second day, you will explore the Higashi Chaya District in Kanazawa, a well-preserved historical area filled with traditional teahouses, cafés, and sweet shops. Following this, proceed to Omicho Market, a vibrant marketplace boasting around 180 shops, where you can enjoy free time for lunch and shopping.
The itinerary also includes a visit to Echizen Soba Village to sample local soba and witness the noodle-making process (or an alternative roadside station visit on select dates).
