Tour Description
Experience a remarkable summer escape that showcases one of Japan's largest fireworks celebrations alongside the picturesque scenery of the Seto Inland Sea.
Your adventure kicks off with the Nishi Awa Fireworks Festival, the sole national fireworks contest in the Chugoku and Shikoku areas. Marvel at around 20,000 dazzling fireworks set off by top fireworks professionals in Japan, all perfectly timed to music. With your reserved seating that includes a chair and table, you can relax without the hassle of searching for a good viewing location.
On the following day, enjoy free time to discover Matsuyama at your leisure. You may want to visit the historic Dogo Onsen, one of Japan's oldest hot springs, wander through the quaint streets that served as inspiration for Natsume Soseki's renowned novel Botchan, or ascend to Matsuyama Castle for stunning views of the city.
The tour proceeds with a picturesque drive along the Shimanami Kaido, traversing a series of islands linked by magnificent bridges.
