Join a special summer tour to witness the world-famous Nagaoka Grand Fireworks Festival, recognized as one of Japan’s Three Greatest Fireworks Festivals.
From the Right Bank A Venue Phoenix Area Group Seating, enjoy an incredible view of the festival’s signature displays, including the magnificent Phoenix Fireworks stretching nearly 2 kilometers across the night sky as a symbol of hope and peace.
The fireworks are launched over the expansive Shinano River riverbed, allowing giant shells with bloom diameters reaching approximately 300 meters to fill the sky. The spectacular combination of large-scale fireworks, synchronized performances, and artistic presentations makes Nagaoka one of Japan’s most celebrated fireworks events.
On the second day, visit the historic Zenkoji Temple in Nagano, a revered pilgrimage site that has attracted worshippers for centuries. After exploring the temple grounds, enjoy free time along Nakamise Street and Omotesando, where local shops and cafés create a charming traditional atmosphere.
The tour also includes a stop at Konnyaku Park in Gunma, where visitors can learn about Japan’s famous konnyaku industry through factory exhibits and enjoy shopping and tasting opportunities.
