Join a special summer bus tour from Osaka to witness the highlight of Kyoto’s famous Gion Festival — the Yamahoko Procession.
Recognized as one of Japan’s three major festivals, this spectacular event showcases intricately decorated floats that glide through the streets of Kyoto, accompanied by the traditional melodies of Gion festival music.
Experience the procession from reserved paid seating, allowing you to savor the enchanting atmosphere and vibrant summer views. Often referred to as a “moving art museum,” the beautifully designed floats offer an unforgettable display that is a hallmark of Kyoto’s summer heritage.
Following the festival, enjoy a lunch buffet featuring approximately 30 different dishes, all expertly crafted using seasonal ingredients. Delight in a diverse selection of both Japanese and Western-style culinary creations.
The tour also includes a visit to “atelier Kyobaum,” one of Kyoto’s largest sweets museums. Explore exhibits themed around Kyoto, matcha, and Baumkuchen while witnessing the factory production process. You will have the opportunity to shop for popular Kyoto sweets and souvenirs.
Please be aware that buffet menu items may vary based on ingredient availability.
