Tour Description

Your journey begins at the 5th Station of Mt. Fuji, situated 2300 m above sea level, accessible via the winding Subaru Line Panoramic Road (the sequence of visits may vary due to operational considerations). If the weather is favorable, you may witness the breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape, including the peak of this revered mountain!

Following this visit, enjoy your lunch (if included in your meal plan). Please inform us of any dietary restrictions or allergies at the time of your booking.

Next, proceed to the Ōwakudani Volcanic Area, a site of secondary volcanic activity that highlights Japan's volcanic nature. You'll see fumaroles and sulfataras in every direction. Here, you can sample "kurotamago" (black eggs boiled in sulfur water)!

After your experience at Ōwakudani, take the Hakone Ropeway down to Ashi Lake for stunning views. The cruise across Lake Ashi is included, allowing you to enjoy the scenery from both above and the water.

  • If the weather conditions are poor or excessively humid, Mount Fuji may not be clearly visible or could be entirely obscured. Please understand that we do not offer refunds in such situations.
  • If the Hakone Ropeway and the Hakone Pirate Ship cannot operate for any reason, the tour will be redirected to one of the following alternative locations: Hakone Komagatake Ropeway, Hakone Lake Ashi Boat Cruise, Lake Kawaguchi Cruise on Lake Kawaguchi, Mt. Fuji Panoramic Ropeway, Mishima Skywalk, Odawara Castle, Hakone Venetian Glass Museum, Hakone-en Aquarium, Narukawa Art Museum, Hakone Checkpoint, Hakone Shrine, and more.

(The tour will not be canceled, and no refund will be provided for this reason.)

  • If you wish to disband at Odawara Station and return to Tokyo via bullet train (ticket provided by the guide), please select the "return with bullet train" option.
  • If you already possess a Japan Rail Pass and plan to return to Tokyo using it, kindly choose the "Disband at Odawara or Hakone" option, and notify the guide on the day of your tour.

The tour guide will not accompany guests on the bullet train from Odawara to Tokyo due to operational reasons. Important information will be shared with guests returning by bullet train prior to boarding.

This tour offers a blend of classic and local experiences, showcasing the magnificent views of Fuji and Hakone while enjoying the ropeway and sightseeing ferry. In the coastal castle town of Odawara, our local guides (Attenjers) will lead you to an observation deck with views of Odawara City, Sagami Bay, the Hakone mountain range, and Odawara Castle. Afterward, you can explore Odawara Castle and wander through the town with insights from your guide. When you're ready for a bite, we’ll take you to a local restaurant that represents Odawara. With Attenjers present, ordering will be a breeze! Finally, enjoy a different kind of local experience where you can interact with residents—a brand-new, fully satisfying plan!
