Kyushu Grand Sumo Tournament (Ozumo Kyushu Basho)

Each year, six major Sumo tournaments take place in Japan, with the Kyushu Grand Sumo Tournament being one of them. The Sumo event occurs in mid-November at the Fukuoka International Center, conveniently located near the Tenjin and Hakata areas.

During this tour, you will have the chance to watch Sumo matches from Chair-seat B or Masu-seat C. Discover your favorite Rikishi (wrestlers) as you enjoy the tournament and cheer them on.

Itinerary

• Meet at Fukuoka International Center
• Kyushu Grand Sumo Tournament We will escort everyone to their seats.
• Our guide will take you to a chair where you will be seated.(Chair B seats on 3rd floor)
• Masu Box C on 2nd Floor : Closer to the ring than Chair Seats B, offering a more immersive experience. Please note that as these boxes seat four people, you will be sharing the space with other spectators.
• Enjoy watching Kyushu Grand Sumo Tournament until 6 PM (Re-admission is possible until 5 PM)
• The Sumo tournament will be dismissed as soon as it is over.

Important Information

• Suitcases and other large pieces of luggage cannot be brought into the seating area. - Please store your luggage in advance at another location (e.g., coin lockers) or at your accommodation.
• Re-entry is allowed as many times as you like from the opening until 5:00 p.m.
• Eating and drinking are allowed in the seating area. Food and beverages will be sold at the concession stand. Please note that food and beverages, including alcoholic beverages, Kindly purchase food and beverages at the concession stand inside the 1F.
• Lost admission tickets or exchange tickets will not be accepted. Re-issuance of tickets is not possible.
• Spectators are not allowed to watch the matches from seats other than their assigned ones.
• Please set your cell phone to silent mode and refrain from talking on it while in the audience.
• Please avoid obstructing the view of others when displaying cheering banners or towels.
• Throwing cushions is strictly prohibited as it may cause injury or other issues.
• Guests who arrive late for the meeting time will have their reservations canceled.

Purchase Notice

• Mass Seat C is a four-person seating arrangement. If there are only 1 or 2 participants, you will be seated with other guests.
• If you would like to sit side-by-side in chair seating or reserve a Masu seat group , please make a single reservation for your entire group at the time of booking. We cannot accommodate such requests if reservations are made separately.
• Please note that specific seat locations or seat numbers cannot be chosen.
• Children up to 3 years of age may join but must sit on the lap of a parent or guardian during the event.
• Visitors aged 4 and older are required to possess a valid ticket.
• Spectators in wheelchairs are not permitted.
