Tea Ceremony
Step into the genuine realm of tea ceremony within a historic Kyomachiya that is 150 years old, situated by the Kamogawa River. During this event, you will have the opportunity to don a complimentary Haori (kimono-style jacket). After the session concludes, you are welcome to capture memorable photographs against the picturesque setting of our historic townhouse along with the scenic river. Additionally, we provide our premium Uji matcha—the same exceptional tea utilized in the ceremony—for purchase (limited to one per group).
Engage in this unique experience that beautifully merges Kyoto’s extensive history, traditional culture, high-quality matcha, and breathtaking river views all at once.

You will be able to take your completed calligraphy piece home as a cherished keepsake from your visit to Kyoto. During the experience, you can also wear a traditional Haori (kimono-style jacket) at no extra cost.
