The JIDAIYA Japanese Calligraphy Experience is a special program that will make your visit to Asakusa unforgettable. In this experience, you can write your favorite character on washi paper using ink and a brush, choosing from one of the three main types of Japanese writing systems: Kanji, Hiragana, or Katakana.
Our expert guides will support you in selecting which character to choose and will ensure you experience the art of calligraphy to the fullest. Through this activity, you can leave behind a beautiful memento that reflects meaningful and traditional Japanese art for yourself or your loved ones.
