Kiyomizu-yaki Pottery Painting Experience
Craft your unique masterpiece by designing your own piece on Kiyomizu-yaki, one of the most renowned traditional crafts of Kyoto, with options including plates or teacups. This premium experience is distinct from typical mass-tourism workshops, as it is limited to intimate groups of up to five participants, allowing for focused and personalized instruction. A certified traditional craftsman will assist you throughout the process, sharing brush techniques and color advice so that even those new to pottery can create with ease. This activity is ideal for families, friends, and couples, serving as a delightful way to create a lasting memory of your visit to Kyoto. Your completed artwork will be fired in the studio’s authentic kiln and sent to you as a true piece of Kiyomizu-yaki ware.
