Mizuekai Performance

The Mizuekai performance was paused in 1971 but made a comeback in 2006 after a gap of 35 years. Since its revival, it has been held over four days, featuring a curated selection of classical Japanese song and dance. Each day presents a different repertoire and a variety of performers.

The artists display the culmination of a year’s worth of preparation, highlighting the traditional arts of Miyagawa Cho. Each performance concludes with “Miyagawa Kouta,” which offers a unique depth amidst its splendid showcase.

The performance lasts approximately 90 minutes.

Performings take place between October 8, 2026, and October 11, 2026, as follows:

• Weekdays: 1 performance daily at 16:00
• Weekends: 2 performances daily at 13:00 and 16:00

Doors Open:

Doors open 30 minutes before each performance.

Age Restriction:

Children under 10 years old are not allowed to enter.

Please refrain from bringing large luggage into the venue.

Access:

No parking is available at the venue. Please use public transportation (train or bus). Coming by car or motorcycle is strictly prohibited.
