Japanese Umbrella-Wagasa
Traditional Japanese umbrellas, known as wagasa, are crafted exclusively from natural materials such as bamboo, Japanese paper (washi), and wood. They are admired for their aesthetic elegance, robustness, and profound ties to Japanese traditions.
Mini Wagasa Making (90 mins)
Choose your preferred design from our assortment of brightly colored washi papers, and create a 30cm miniature wagasa utilizing traditional adhesive methods. After it dries, the umbrella will be meticulously folded and finished, resulting in your unique piece of art. You can take your handmade wagasa home with you on the same day.
