Nagasaki Kunchi Festival (Enjoy plenty of the Kunchi from the reserved seats)

Every year, performances take place across four primary locations: Suwa Shrine, Otabisho, Yasaka Shrine, and Chuo Park. This is arguably the highlight of the festival as dancers showcase representations from Nagasaki's various city districts.

This tour product can be viewed at the Chuo Park venue.

Currently, Nagasaki City consists of 58 Odorimachi (performing towns), categorized into seven groups. Consequently, the opportunity to present a dedicated dance arises once every seven years. Each year during the Nagasaki Kunchi, a specific "Odoricho" performs a unique dedication dance, rotating every few years. This results in a diverse array of votive dances.

• Please refrain from wearing hats or using umbrellas inside the venue.
• Remain seated while watching the performance.
• Be considerate of those around you and follow staff instructions at all times.
• Please do not leave the event during the program (except when using the restroom).
• Food and beverages may be brought in, but please be sure to take your trash with you.

We cannot accommodate requests to seat groups together if bookings are made separately.

• In cases of natural disasters, unforeseen disasters, coup d'etats, wars, strikes or acts of God, it may not be possible to proceed with the tour.

• Each town’s performance will last 30 minutes, and the total performance time for all six towns is scheduled to be 3 hours. (*You may leave during the performance.)

• Children aged 1 and under do not require a separate seat if they sit on an adult's lap.(per 1 Adult) However, please be sure to inform us of the number and ages of these children via message in advance.

• A reserved seat is mandatory for all children aged 2 and older.
