Tour Description

This walking tour is guided and begins at Kintetsu Nara Station. The meeting point is the Gyoki Statue with a Fountain at Kintetsu Nara Station. Our guide will be holding a sign marked "HIS" while waiting for you.

The Great Buddha at Todaiji Temple is one of Nara's most renowned and historically significant sites. It holds the title of the largest wooden structure globally, standing at approximately 15 meters tall.

A short stroll from Todaiji Temple leads you to Nara Park, where you can observe friendly and charming deer.

We will also take you to a traditional Japanese knife shop, which offers not just knives, but also swords, scissors, nail clippers, and more.

Shopping will take place in the Shika Saru Kitsune building located in Naramachi. You'll discover a wide range of local products. We are confident that you will be impressed by the unique, nostalgic, and beautifully designed retro-modern architecture of this building.

Additionally, you will have the opportunity to experience Sake tasting! Enjoy sampling locally brewed Sake.
