Amanohashidate
Amanohashidate is recognized as one of the "Three Great Views of Japan". This natural masterpiece has been shaped by the Noda River and the Sea of Japan. From various angles, Amanohashidate is believed to resemble a dragon, marking it as a site of good fortune.
Kasamatsu Park
This observatory offers sweeping views of Amanohashidate. The formation resembles the Chinese character for "one". If you turn away from Amanohashidate and lean forward to gaze at the landscape through your legs, it appears as if a bridge spans the heavens.
Ine
The boathouses in Ine are situated in northern Kyoto Prefecture, within a region referred to as "Kyoto by the Sea," and have become a favored tourist destination. The charming ambiance is ideal for a relaxed walk.
Wintern Lantern Festival in Miyama Kayabuki no Sato
Kayabuki no Sato, located in Miyama, is a mountainous village that preserves traditional thatched-roof homes. During the Wintern Lantern Festival, the snow-laden roofs are lit up, and handmade snow lanterns from participants create an enchanting winter atmosphere in Miyama Kayabuki no Sato.
