Koko-en Garden

Located next to Himeji Castle, Koko-en is an exquisite, genuine Japanese garden complex that spans roughly 3.3 hectares. It consists of nine distinct gardens, intricately arranged over the archaeological sites of samurai homes and pathways, effectively reflecting the unique aesthetics and landscaping techniques of the Edo period (1603–1867).

Lavender Park Taka

Found in Taka Town, Hyogo Prefecture, Lavender Park Taka is the largest lavender garden in Western Japan, enveloped by pristine, natural surroundings. From mid-May to mid-July, around 50,000 lavender plants blossom throughout the park, filling the area with a soothing fragrance. The park also includes a cafe offering panoramic views, a signature lavender soft-serve ice cream, and interactive aromatherapy experiences.

Roadside Station "Yamada Nishiki Birthplace" Taka

Situated in the center of Taka Town, this distinctive roadside station honors the area as the birthplace of Yamada Nishiki, Japan’s top sake brewing rice. Visitors can taste exceptional local sakes, shop for fresh morning produce, and enjoy unique regional specialties.
