Miwa Shuzou (Miwa Sake Brewery)

This historic brewery boasts roughly 200 years of tradition and is celebrated for its high-quality Nigori (cloudy) sake. The establishment is acknowledged as a Registered Tangible Cultural Property of Japan, exemplifying Meiji-era architecture while maintaining the charm of the historic town. Experience the remarkable sake produced with precision—from the thoughtfully chosen brewing rice to the pure, flavorful spring water sourced from Gifu.

Sennari Sushi

Indulge in exquisite, freshly selected seafood that the owner personally acquires from the fish market each morning. Motivated by the mission to "offer genuinely outstanding sushi despite Gifu's landlocked status," this beloved eatery has been a favorite among locals for over seven decades.

Shiraki Tsunesuke Shoten (Shiraki Tsunesuke Sake Brewery)

Established in the late Edo period, this brewery is famous for its aged sake (Koshu). The aging process enhances a rich, smooth flavor filled with the natural sweetness of rice, showcasing beautiful golden and deep ruby colors. Noteworthy selections include the "3-Year Aged Sake" and the crafted Umeshu (plum liqueur), both of which are smooth, easy to enjoy, and highly recommended for those new to Japanese sake.
