The program details for this day will be added soon.
Gion Matsuri Festival
This celebration is one of Japan's three principal festivals, alongside the Kanda Matsuri festival in Tokyo and the Tenjin Matsuri festival in Osaka.
The Gion Matsuri has a history spanning over 1,000 years, originally established to protect against severe plagues and epidemics. It is also recognized as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage.
The festival takes place throughout July, with the most notable days being the 17th and 24th, which feature the spectacular float procession. Some of these floats reach heights of 25m/82 feet!
This event represents the most thrilling aspect of the Gion Matsuri festival.
From the Reserved Viewing Seats, attendees can admire the vibrant colors and immerse themselves in the festive atmosphere.
