Samurai Checkpoint and Traditional Basket Weaving
A detailed description for this day is coming soon. The following stops will be visited:
This tour takes you back to the life of the Date Clan 200 years ago. By visiting the historic "Nuruyu-Bansho," you can explore this rare National Historic Site that the Date Clan used as a border checkpoint for two centuries.
After learning the architectural secrets of the structure, which is built without nails and entirely from wood, under the guidance of a local expert, you will participate in a workshop where you can experience traditional regional weaving techniques. In this workshop, you can create your own colorful basket using modern and eco-friendly materials. The tour offers a unique blend of Japan’s feudal past and contemporary crafts.
