• One of Kyoto’s most beloved seasonal customs is escaping the summer warmth with Kawadoko (riverside terrace dining). We welcome you to immerse yourself in this enchanting setting at Momiji-ya, a historic venue established in 1907.
• Enjoy a refreshing breeze by the river while relishing exquisite, authentic Japanese dishes made from the finest seasonal ingredients, all set against unique, traditional architecture.
• 10:50 / 11:00 – Complimentary shuttle bus service from JR Hanazono Station or Subway Uzumasa Tenjingawa Station.
• 11:30 – 14:30 – Delight in a lovely 3-hour traditional Japanese dining experience by the riverside.
• 15:00 – Return drop-off at the station.

• Pick up from JR Hanazono station at 10:50 Metro Uzumasa-Tenjingawa station at 11:00
• Arrive Momiji-ya at 11:30
• Depart from Momiji-ya at 14:30
• Return to JR Hanazono station at 15:00 Metro Uzumasa-Tenjingawa station at 15:10

• Since you will be seated on a Kawadoko, it may be chilly depending on the season.
• There is a step up to the Kawadoko seat.
• This facility is not awheelchair accessible.
• To ensure the health of ryokan employees, they may wear masks when serving.
